Creek Road General Practice is a private billing practice, with a gap fee payable in addition to the Medicare rebate received.
- The consultation fee is payable at the time of the consultation.
- A concession rate may be billed for children 15 years or younger, those on a pension or those who have a Health Care Card on weekdays.
- DVA Gold Card holders may have their accounts paid by DVA. Patients will be informed if a private fee applies prior to their consultation.
- Full private Weekend fees apply to all consultations on Saturdays.
- Payment can be via cash, EFTPOS, MasterCard or Visa.
- Procedures (eg Implanon & Mirena insertion and skin excisions) will incur an additional fee.
- Some other services may incur an additional fee (eg private vaccinations).
- For patients with a Medicare card, most payments will be processed electronically meaning that patients will receive their Medicare refund almost immediately.
- Patients without a Medicare card (eg, if you are not an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or are awaiting a Medicare card), will be responsible for the full cost of their consultation and any associated tests or referrals organised during the consultation
- Missed appointments may be charged at the cost of the consultation (please see our policy page for more information).
